This has been a surprisingly cold winter for all of us nation wide. For most of us, spring break signifies the turning point of the year; it signals the start of warmer months to come. There’s no better time to take a trip, let your hair down, and show off the bikini body you’ve been working hard on all winter.
Let’s be honest, the holidays have just passed, it’s still the beginning of the year, and we’re all trying to get our pockets back solid. It’s simply not the best time to splurge on an expensive vacation right now. Not to worry though, I’ve got just the solution for all of my boughetto fab peeps!
Panama city beach, Florida is the perfect compromise; especially if you live on the east coast of the U.S. Located in northwestern Florida, this water front town is a very popular vacation destination for people of all ages. It is notorious, however, for its lengthy sandy beaches and crazy fun spring break parties.
While it is accessible by plane, sometimes airplane fare is not on the budget. In this case, you can easily pack up your car and drive to it. As college students on a budget, this is how my friends and I enjoyed our first spring break freshman year- and a memorable one it was.
Besides the nice beaches and Florida sunshine, Panama City Beach has something for everyone. Whether you want to enjoy some relaxing time laying out on the beach with sand in your toes, or you are looking for a fun trip to party it up and bond with your girls, this is the place to be. It is most definitely the perfect getaway for college students and young adults because of its affordability and liveliness.
If you’re looking to party during the day, there is literally music blasting and drinks pouring at different locations along the beach. If the night life is your thing, there is a strip of bars and night clubs popping every night and on every corner- accessible on foot. My friends and I had the best time renting out scooters that we rode up and down the strip during the day, and we enjoyed concerts and live events at night.
If partying is not your scene, you can always rent out a nice beach front house at the more reclusive parts of the strip and enjoy some quiet time and relaxation- with a nice glass of your favorite wine of course 😉.
My advice to you is to rent out an Airbnb. This allows you to truly get the right accommodations for the size of your party, at the right price, in the right location on the beach. On Airbnb, you can find beach front properties or high rise condos to rent with prices going as low as $40 per night. The beauty of Airbnb is that you can truly decide what you are willing to spend, and make it fit into your idea of a perfect boughetto fab getaway.
Who would you like to share this spring break getaway with?
